The U.S. Fund for UNICEF Holiday Coloring Book app enables children to color as many as nine holiday greetings on the iPad and then email them to friends and family. Sideways recently developed its coloring book functionality, which can be added to any children’s book, and offered it to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF as a way to support the organization’s brand and mission.

Sideways is the first publication written specifically for users of the iPad. It’s designed to take full advantage of the iPad’s beautiful display and multimedia capabilities. Published on Sideway’s M3 platform, it explores topics and conveys information in ways that other magazines can’t. Sideways magazine is experimental in that it gives us the opportunity to produce content, and present it in new and exciting ways. It helps us drive development and create features and functionality that can be applied to other publication types.
